Table “E1027” by Eileen Gray ,1927, signed and numbered,
Reissued under licence by ClassiCon since 1990.
It is named after the summer house E 1027 “Maison en bord de mer”, which Eileen Gray built for herself and her collaborator Jean Badovici in Roquebrune-Cap-Martin on the Côte d’Azur. The mysterious code name also comes from her: E for Eileen, 10 for Jean (J is the letter 10. of the alphabet), 2 for B(adovici) and 7 for G(ray).
