Bespoke sideboard, custom-made in Santiago de Chile in 1952 for a Swiss family by a Hungarian carpenter living in Chile, with his label,  Martonffy, inside.

Three sliding doors opening onto shelves, four drawers, original key.

Coigüe wood (notofangus dombeyi) from southern Chile. Brass handles.

In excellent condition and incredibly sturdy, it was moved first to Argentina and then to Switzerland.
