About Austinsuite:
The story begins with Frank Austin, along with three brothers he embarked on an entrepreneurial adventure in 1928. Their small business was nestled in London’s Shoreditch High Street.
Austinsuite quickly made a name for itself with its high-quality mahogany and teak furniture. By the mid-1950s, the company had become one of Britain’s largest furniture manufacturers.
In the 1960s and 1970s, Austinsuite furniture was sold in high-end department stores such as Harrods and Selfridges. The furniture was also exported around the world, including to the United States and Australia.
Austinsuite closed in the 1980s.
