De Sede DS-600

Mythical modular sofa, also known as the “Non-Stop Sofa” or “Snake”, made up of 14 elements including 2 armrests, in beige leather and a base covered in brown wool. The DS-600 is a system of individual elements that can be infinitely extended. The elements are connected by a hinge and a zip.

Made in Switzerland since 1972, this model is around twenty years old and in excellent condition.

The longest DS-600 is currently in the palace of the ruling family of a sultanate – where the legendary 406 rainbow-coloured upholstery elements come together to create an endless circular or serpentine sofa.

The sculpture has also taken up residence in the living rooms of Tina Turner, Jerry Hall and Mick Jagger, and has become the ‘star’ of numerous James Bond films – New York’s legendary Studio 54 has also been adorned with the trendy sofa designed by a collective of Swiss designers.
